Vibrant performances, colorful costumes, and cultural storytelling filled the streets of Pamplona as
eleven clustered contingents representing eighteen barangays participated in the street dance festival
of the 2nd Caggu Festival and Patronal Fiesta held on April 28, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Named after the caggu or shell\u2014an enduring symbol of the municipality\u2019s coastal resources and local
heritage\u2014the festival highlighted Pamplona\u2019s rich cultural identity and strong sense of community.
Through rhythmic movements, thematic choreography, and visually striking presentations, the
participating contingents showcased stories inspired by tradition, livelihood, and the enduring spirit of
the Pamplone\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The street dance competition transformed the municipality into a lively display of music and
movement, drawing residents and visitors together in celebration. Each clustered contingent

Following the street performances, the festival dance showdown was held at the municipal

The Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 02 joined the celebration in support of Pamplona\u2019s cultural
and tourism initiatives and served as part of the board of judges for the festival dance competition.
The participation of DOT Region 02 reaffirmed the importance of local festivals in promoting cultural
preservation, community engagement, and tourism development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The 2nd Caggu Festival and Patronal Fiesta continues to strengthen local identity and community
