The Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 2 proudly sponsored the Tuguegarao Half-Marathon as part of its continuing efforts to promote sport tourism and position the region as a vibrant destination for active and experiential travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With around 700 runners participating, the event drew athletes and enthusiasts not only from across Region 2 but also from various parts of the country, highlighting Tuguegarao City\u2019s growing appeal as a host for major sporting events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of its support, DOT Region 2 distributed tokens to all registered runners and maximized the opportunity to promote the region\u2019s tourism offerings through on-site activations. Participants were encouraged to follow official DOT Region 2 social media platforms, strengthening digital engagement and expanding the reach of the region\u2019s tourism campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
