Over ₱1.5 Million in Sales Generated at the 4th North Luzon Travel Expo
The 4th North Luzon Travel Expo (NLTE) held at SM City Tuguegarao proved to be not just a showcase of destinations, culture, and creativity, but also a successful venue for trade and commerce — generating a total of ₱1,518,310.00in sales and bookings over the four-day event.

A total of 27 exhibitors participated in this year’s expo, with 21 of them recording actual sales of products and services ranging from local delicacies, crafts, and souvenirs to travel packages and insurance quotations. Despite six exhibitors not posting sales, their participation was instrumental in promoting regional tourism offerings and expanding networks with other stakeholders.

Participating exhibitors from across the country, including the four North Luzon regions (Regions 1, 2, 3, and CAR), together with other regions, national government agencies, and private sector partners, recorded impressive on-site sales from local products, food, travel packages, and quotations.

The Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 2, as host region, highlighted that the sales reflect the growing strength of local tourism value chains — from travel agencies and tour operators to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) — that benefit directly from events like the NLTE.
The numbers show that the North Luzon Travel Expo is not just a celebration of destinations but also an engine that supports local livelihoods. It creates real opportunities for our MSMEs, communities, and tourism stakeholders.
The 4th North Luzon Travel Expo was organized by the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 2 in partnership with DOT Regions 1, 3, and CAR, with support from national government agencies, local government units, and private stakeholders.#
