Tourism Awareness and Tourist Reception Seminar
The Department of Tourism, Region 2 together with DOT Master Trainer Dr. Reynaldo A. Jorda successfully conducted Tourism Awareness and Tourist Reception Seminar on March 2-4, 2022 at Orquidia Beach Resort, Santa Ana, Cagayan. Twenty-six (26) participants from the Accommodation Establishments, Travel and Tour Agency, Community-Based Tourism Organizations and Tourism Frontliners in the Municipality of Santa Ana completed the three-day training.
The activity was aimed to provide the participants with information on the basic procedures in receiving guests, basic check-in and check-out procedures. The training was conducted in preparation for the launching of Cagayan’s stand alone tourism circuit “Santa Ana:Your Adventure Paradise”.
The group elected their set of officers for Santa Ana Mainland Tour Guides Association (SACMTGA). The association members will serve as Municipal Tour Guides in mainland Santa Ana catering to guests and tourists in time with the re-opening of tourism destinations in Santa Ana, Cagayan.
