REGIONAL TRAVEL ADVISORY

In line with the suspension of work in government and private institutions due to the continuous rain and flooding in some parts of Tuguegarao City, the public is hereby informed that the Department of Tourism, Regional Office is closed today, 5 December 2019.

 

The effect of Typhoon Tisoy (Kammuri) and the gusty conditions associated with the Northeast Monsoon is now experienced in northern portions of Northern Luzon, especially in the coastal and mountainous areas.

 

Cagayan is experiencing cloudy skies, light to moderate and heavy rains. Isabela is experiencing the same weather conditions while Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino are experiencing intermittent light to moderate rains.

 

The rest of the region is now in Yellow Rainfall warning. The rains continuously threaten to denude the region as the Cagayan River keep on rising.

 

Visitors are advised to postpone travels in the Region.
