The Local Government Unit of Divilacan through its Municipal Tourism Office, kicks off the Dry-Run of the Isabela Coasts, Your Island Toast! Tourism Circuit today, June 10, 2022.

The Dry-Run aims to determine the readiness of the tourism circuit for regional and national validation including the identification of gaps and enhancements necessary to ensure the completeness of the product experience.

The Dry Run activity will be participated by the Sangguniang Bayan Committee on Tourism, Police Officers, Tour Guides, Boat Operators, Divilacan Riders Association, Homestay Operators, Regional, Provincial and Municipal Tourism officials.

The Five-Day Four-Night Tourism Circuit is the output of a series of workshops and dialogues with the tourism stakeholders of the municipality under the Domestic Tourism Program of the Department of Tourism, Region 2 Office.

The first day of the circuit ended with a tree-planting activity entitled Tree for a Legacy Activity at Barangay Dimapula Ripparian Zone. The tree planting activity is a major requirement of the Department of Tourism, Region 2 in the promotion of an Ecotourism Zone, particularly in Protected Areas in order to balance the carbon footprints of the visitors to the area.

Divilacan town, in the Province of Isabela is located at the Northern Sierra Madre Natural Park ( NSMNP) facing the Pacific Ocean. It can be accessed by taking a light plane from Cuayan City and Tuguegarao City Domestic Airport.
