DOT Region 2 Conducts Seminar on Filipino Brand of Service Excellence for Accommodation Managers and Tour Guides
The Department of Tourism, Cagayan Valley Region conducts Seminar on Filipino Brand of Service Excellence for Managers of Accommodation Establishments and Tour Guides in Ilagan City, Province of Isabela to be conducted on November 8-9 in Ilagan City, Isabela. This was disclosed by Department of Tourism Region 2 Director Fanibeth Domingo.
This two-day training was designed to develop and sustain a tourism workforce capable of providing excellent quality service that is globally competitive. The training will also prepare the stakeholders within the Culture, Heritage and Arts Tourism (CHAT) Circuit who are in the process of undertaking a Tourism Product Development Process.
Director Domingo said the invitation was issued to all DOT-Accredited Tourism Accommodation establishments that are allowed to operate during the time of the pandemic as well as DOT-Accredited Tour Guides in the city.

The City of Ilagan has been awarded as one of the two Cleanest City in the country this year under the ASEAN Clean City Program. The other city awarded the same accolade is the Pine City of Baguio.
