DOT Honors Stakeholders in the 2nd Tourism Awards and Appreciation Night
The Department of Tourism, Region 2 has conducted the 2nd Tourism Awards and Appreciation Night at Zen Hotel, Santiago City.
The Department of Tourism, Cagayan Valley Region recognizes the importance of the support of its stakeholders as partners in the advancement of its programs, projects and activities. Local Government Units and tourism stakeholders who are the stewards of the tourism attractions and destinations are important partners in the development of tourism in the countryside.
The awards were identified by the Planning and Accreditation team of the Department. For the Accreditation Section, awardees were comprised of tourism enterprises who have been consistently accredited for eight consecutive years since the implementation of the Republic Act 9593 or otherwise known as the Tourism Act of 2009.
