DOT FURTHER EASES THE REQUIREMENTS FOR AVAILING BAYANIHAN 2 STIMULUS PACKAGES
The Department of Tourism (DOT) and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) have relaxed the rules for the grant of financial assistance for the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act (Bayanihan 2).
This is good news for those who were able to get financial assistance under Covid-19 Adjustment Measures Program 1 (CAMP) 1 and Social Amelioration Program (SAP). Those who received cash assistance under CAMP 1 and SAP are now allowed and qualified for the Financial Assistance under Bayanihan 2.
With this development, may we request the assistance of our tourism officers and municipal Public Employment Service Office (PESO) to assist the submission of documents by the tourism establishments, community – based tourism organizations, tour guides, travel and tour agencies and transport operators located in established tourism destinations in the various municipalities of Cagayan Valley Region.
